Our Story
Mentrix Global was founded by experienced educators and professors whose work spans the University of Toronto, the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom, York University, the University of Delhi, Hindu College, the Faculty of Management Studies, and leading international schools.
The company emerged from a shared conviction: AI in education should be shaped through an educator’s lens. Mentrix Global brings together academic experience, school leadership, student-success expertise, and global education strategy to create solutions that expand opportunity while protecting the human relationships and institutional trust at the heart of education.

Leadership
Vineeta Nathan
Co-Founder & CEO
Vineeta is an academic leader with more than two decades of experience across K–12 and postsecondary education in Canada and India. She has led large teams, multi-million-dollar academic portfolios, international programmes, curriculum innovation, and student-success initiatives at institutions including the University of Toronto, Upper Canada College, The British School in New Delhi, and York University. A Doctor of Business Administration candidate and education board member, she brings a deep commitment to excellence, equity, responsible innovation, and global student success.
Gautam Nath
Co-Founder
Gautam is a Toronto-based corporate marketing leader and multicultural strategist with more than 25 years of experience, including work with global brands such as SC Johnson and Estée Lauder. Recognised among Canada’s Top 25 Immigrants and awarded the Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers, he brings Mentrix Global a distinctive blend of market strategy, civic leadership, and commitment to newcomer success.
Michael Twohey
Co-Founder
Michael is an educator, academic leader, and published scholar who holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge. His career includes senior leadership at York University’s English Language Institute, executive communication teaching with Schulich ExecEd, and earlier experience in financial services. His research and publications on modern China, together with his work supporting international learners, bring academic depth and a global perspective to Mentrix Global.
