Global Pathways

International Secondary-School Pathways for a Changing World

Mentrix Global works with qualified education providers to connect schools and students with internationally recognised secondary-school pathways. Options may include the Ontario Secondary School Diploma, International Baccalaureate programmes, and A Levels, subject to provider availability, student eligibility, regulatory requirements, and local recognition.

Our role is to help institutions and families understand the available pathways, evaluate alignment with future university goals, and navigate the journey with clarity.

Pathway Options

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)

The OSSD is Ontario’s secondary-school qualification and is widely used for applications to universities in Canada and internationally. Depending on the delivery partner and the student’s prior learning, options may include individual Ontario credits, credit-transfer assessment, or completion of remaining diploma requirements.

International Baccalaureate (IB)

IB pathways offer an internationally oriented academic experience built around inquiry, critical thinking, and global engagement. Available programme structures, subjects, delivery formats, and eligibility requirements will depend on the authorised IB provider.

A Levels

A Levels provide focused, subject-based preparation recognised by universities in the United Kingdom and many other international destinations. Students can explore subject combinations aligned with intended areas of university study and institutional admission requirements.

How It Works

  1. 1

    Initial Consultation

Understand the student’s academic history, goals, location, and preferred study model.

  2. 2

    Preliminary Pathway Review

Identify potentially suitable qualification routes and any required transcript assessment.

  3. 3

    Institutional Assessment

The authorised education provider reviews eligibility, prior credits, subjects, and graduation requirements.

  4. 4

    Enrolment and Academic Planning

The student enrols through the approved structure and receives an individual academic plan.

  5. 5

    Progression Support

Mentrix and its collaborators support communication, programme navigation, and future university planning according to the agreed service model.
